The EcoLabs-Continental Urban Mobility Accelerator (ECUMA) Programme is jointly established by EcoLabs Centre of Innovation for Energy and Continental Automotive Singapore. It aims to build a pipeline of products and services that are co-created by startups, SMEs and our industry partner Continental.

We regularly organise networking events, capability-building workshops, training and pitching sessions, as well as demo day. When opportunities arise, we will facilitate collaborative discussions between partners and startups.


We love your idea and proposal, and now we would like to see it materialise in real life conditions. A pilot will be deployed at one of our global testbed sites to validate your technology’s performance and suitability for scaling up.

The ECUMA Programme offers flexibility, which sets it apart from the rest. Apart from mentorship, it also offers a wide array of capability-building and networking opportunities.


After your application is accepted, you will be given an introduction to the EcoLabs Centre of Innovation for Energy. We will also invite you to attend events, workshops, trainings and community events with other EcoLabs partners and alumni.

The Demo Week is designed for selected startups to showcase and present their solutions to a tailored audience, which may include potential investors, clients and partners who will be interested in your solutions.

application process

Applying for the ECUMA programme is simple – find out how below.


If you are interested in applying for this programme, you will first need to be a startup that focuses on Urban Mobility. You should also have your pitch deck ready as part of the application.


You will be required to fill up the application form and attach your pitch deck. Your application will then be reviewed and we will notify you should further information be required. We may also request for a meeting with you.


If your startup is selected, you will be invited to Info Day, which will help you make an informed decision about our offer to you. Upon offer acceptance, you will be offered the opportunity to have a pilot at one of our global testbed sites.
